Privacy policy

In short: This website sets no cookies, uses no analytics or tracking tools and loads no content from third parties – even the fonts are hosted on our own server. Personal data is only processed in server log files and when you write to us by email or via the contact form. Our apps have their own app privacy policy.

2. Hosting and server log files

This website is hosted by WebhostOne GmbH, Rheinvogtstraße 7, 79713 Bad Säckingen, Germany. Whenever a page is requested, the server automatically processes data transmitted by your browser:

• IP address,
• date and time of the request,
• requested page or file, status code and amount of data transferred,
• the previously visited page (referrer), if your browser sends it,
• browser type and version, and operating system.

This data is technically necessary to deliver the website and to keep it secure and stable, for example to fend off attacks. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is the secure and reliable operation of the website. Log files are not combined with other data and are deleted as soon as they are no longer needed for these purposes.

The hosting provider processes this data on our behalf on servers in Germany. We have concluded a data processing agreement with them pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR.

3. No cookies, no tracking

We do not set cookies. There is no audience measurement, no tracking and no profiling. Fonts, images and all other content are loaded from our own server; no data is passed to third parties when you visit this website.

The only exception: if you choose the “Light” or “Dark” appearance at the top right, your browser remembers this choice in its local storage so that it is kept on your next visit. This setting stays on your device and is not transmitted to us. Storing it is strictly necessary for the function you explicitly requested (Section 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG). Choosing “Auto” deletes the entry again; you can also remove it in your browser settings.

4. Contacting us by email or contact form

If you write to us by email or via our contact form, we process your email address, your name (if provided) and the content of your message in order to answer your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where your enquiry relates to a contract or to entering into one, and otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (our legitimate interest in answering enquiries). We delete the data once your enquiry has been fully dealt with, unless statutory retention obligations apply.

With the contact form, our web server at WebhostOne GmbH sends your details directly to us as an email; nothing is stored on the website itself, and no third-party services are involved. Only your email address, so that we can reply, and your message are required.

5. Links to app stores

This website contains links to the Apple App Store and Google Play. Only when you click such a link are you taken to the respective provider, whose privacy policy then applies. No data is transferred to these providers before that.

6. Encryption

This website uses TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by “https://” in your browser's address bar.

7. Your rights

You have the right at any time to

• access the data we hold about you (Art. 15 GDPR),
• have incorrect data rectified (Art. 16 GDPR),
• have your data erased (Art. 17 GDPR),
• restrict processing (Art. 18 GDPR),
• data portability (Art. 20 GDPR) and
• withdraw any consent you have given, with effect for the future (Art. 7(3) GDPR).

Right to object (Art. 21 GDPR): Where we process data on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, you may object at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR). The authority responsible for us is the Bavarian Data Protection Authority (Bayerisches Landesamt für Datenschutzaufsicht, BayLDA), Promenade 18, 91522 Ansbach, Germany, www.lda.bayern.de.

8. Changes

We update this privacy policy when the website or the legal situation changes. The version published here applies.
